Created by Stephen Hustedde as a demonstration project for his Windows 8 Mobile Device Programming course (CIS165DB) at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. The app allows a user to map a driving route from the device's current location (or a specified address or landmark) to any of the thirty Majopr League Baseball ballparks. Ideal for the traveller who wants to find his or her way to a ballgame or the die hard fan who is planning to visit all thrity parks. Step-by-step written driving directions are also supplied along with the total mileage and estimated travel time excluding traffic congestion or construction.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame may use your location to map to a selected location, but does not store, collect, or transmit your location data. You can switch the location feature off anytime at the application Settings/Permissions charm.
